Data the app keeps

Account: name, email and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, the account id at those services. Phone number, address and an alternative contact (name and phone), if you add them, to show on the emergency card.

Pets: name, species, breed, sex, birth date, microchip, food, vet, allergies and conditions, vaccines, medications and doses, reminders, weights, vet visits (with notes and cost), photos and attachments (photos or PDFs of exams and prescriptions).

Sharing: when you create a caregiver link, the name and contact (phone or email) of that person, the period, the instructions and the doses they mark.

Subscription: if you subscribe to Premium, the product, the store, the start and end dates and whether it renews. Payment happens in the App Store or Google Play; Bichário never receives card data.

The app shows no ads, uses no usage analytics, and never sells or rents data.

If you sign in with Google, Google itself may collect device and usage data (such as the device identifier and approximate location), under Google's privacy policy.

What the data is used for

Only to run the app: show and remind pet care, sign you in, build the emergency card and the caregiver page, generate the vet report and apply the plan limits.

Reminders are notifications scheduled on the phone itself.

What other people can see

Emergency card: only if you turn it on. Anyone with the link or QR code sees the fields you choose (for example phone, allergies and medications in use). You can turn the card off or change its link at any time.

Caregiver link: anyone with the link sees, during its period, the tasks of the day, the instructions, your contacts and the allergies of the pets in the link. You can revoke the link at any time.

Vet report: the PDF is made on your phone and shared only with whom you choose.

Services that process data for Bichário

Cloudflare (servers and database), Cloudinary (photo and attachment storage), Resend (sending the sign-in code by email), RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple App Store and Google Play (subscription billing), Google and Apple (sign-in with those accounts, when you choose it). These services may store data outside Brazil, with the safeguards the LGPD requires.

All traffic between the app and the servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Sign-in codes are stored only as a hash.

How long

Data is kept while the account exists. When you delete the account, we delete the account, the pets you own, their records, photos and attachments. Database backups are discarded within 30 days.

Your rights

Under the LGPD you can ask to access, correct, port or delete your data, and for information about how it is processed. Most of it can be done in the app; for the rest, write to the contact below.

To delete the account: in the app, Settings > Delete account; or ask by email (see the "Delete account" page).

Children

The app is meant for people 18 and older.
